I started something new today. I was full of apprehension but soon realized that I am lacking the confidence in myself to step up to the plate and try something different. I found my confidence in realizing that I have over a decade of experience and can handle almost anything that could get thrown my way.
Fear of the unknown is something that we all are faced with. Sometimes its those who you think have it all together and you realize that they don't quite have it together to help you see that you are not alone. Someone reminded me of this on the weekend and I thank them.
It is way easier to stay where you are and continue to do the same thing year after year. For now I will take the road less travelled and continue to challenge myself to try new things, explore places I haven't been before and meet some new people along the way!
I haven't blogged in a long time since I have recently survived a tragedy within my personal life. To those of you who have read or posted comments here I thank you. Pass it along. It might help someone else out who needs it.
